Biography
Imaging Manager, Biomedical Imaging Team - Tom Barr has
over 20 years of experience on clinical, technical, and
research projects in healthcare related to digital
pathology, electronic medical record (EMR), computerized
physician order entry (CPOE), laboratory information
systems (LIS), and picture archiving and communication
systems (PACS). Tom has a bachelor's degree in computer
information systems, an associate’s degree in medical
laboratory technology, and is EpicCare Ambulatory
certified. Tom's current role is to manage all activities
of the imaging team, supervise grants associated with
imaging, and ensure the overall success of the team.
