Devarshi Ghoshal is a Research Scientist in the Data Science and Technology Department at LBNL. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2014. His current research interests include high performance computing, large scale data management in distributed systems, I/O performance benchmarking and performance optimizations in scientific workflows. His current projects focus on building efficient data management tools for next-generation HPC systems, and creating models for predicting and improving network performance for large data-intensive scientific workflows. He has received a couple of best paper awards at SC workshops.
