From 2008 to 2012 Ladina represented CSCS interests in the planning and construction of the new CSCS-Swiss National Supercomputing Centre in Lugano. She has run the Business Services Unit of CSCS that includes the Facility Management group since 2009. Prior to this she held a number of different roles and responsibilities at CSCS that she joined in 2003. She holds a BSc in international hospitality management and masters degree in real estate management from the University of Zurich. She has a strong interest in the specific infrastructure challenges faced by HPC sites and was one of the founding members of the European HPC Centre Infrastructure Workshop series in 2008.
