Presenter

Ivo Jimenez is a PhD candidate at the UC Santa Cruz Computer Science Department and a member of the Systems Research Lab. His main interests center around distributed systems with a focus on large-scale data management and analytics platforms. Mr. Jimenez's PhD thesis addresses the reproducible evaluation of computer systems research, in particular, leveraging cloud computing and DevOps to easily validate and replicate scientific experiments across scientific domains. He is the lead author of Popper (http://falsifiable.us).
