Biography
Ang Li received his bachelor degree from the Computer
Science (CS) department of Zhejiang University (ZJU),
Hangzhou, China, in 2010. From 2010 to 2011, he worked in
Mintel Consulting as a software developer. From 2011 to
2012, he worked in CAPS Enterprise as a GPU compiler and
High-Performance-Computing application developer. In 2016,
he received his two PhD degrees from the Electrical and
Computer Engineering (ECE) department of National
University of Singapore (NUS) , Singapore and the
Electrical Engineering (EE) department of Eindhoven
University of Technology (TU/e), Eindhoven, The
Netherlands. The thesis topic was "GPU Performance
Modeling and Optimization". He also used to work as a
research intern in Inria, Paris-Sud University, Paris,
France and CUHK, Hong Kong on GPU-related topics. He is
now working as a Staff Scientist in the High Performance
Computing Group of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
(PNNL), Richland, WA, USA.
