Shinya Maeyama
Biography
Shinya Maeyama is an assistant professor at the Department
of Physics in Nagoya University. He received his Ph.D.
degree in 2012 from Tokyo Institute of Technology. Since
then he has been engaged in fusion plasma turbulence
researches by utilizing gyrokinetic simulations. He has
experiences on extension of simulation models, on
development of high performance computing techniques, and
on analysis of plasma turbulence physics. His current
research interests are in multi-scale plasma turbulence
including electron and ion scales, where cross-scale
interactions between disparate two scales are only
resolved in massively parallelized simulations.
