Biography
Ali Mohammed (Ph.D. Student, University of Basel) – Mr.
Mohammed is a Ph.D. student in the HPC group at University
of Basel. He is also a member of computational toolbox
Ph.D. program offered by Competence Center of
Computational Sciences (CCCS) in University of Basel. He
is doing his studies in the field of robust scheduling in
HPC. Before joining the HPC group at the University of
Basel, he worked as a teaching assistant in Faculty of
Engineering in Minia University in Egypt. During his work
as teaching assistant, he also conducted his master's
studies in the field of fault tolerant scheduling of
dependent tasks represented as directed acyclic graphs
(DAG). He studied the different methods to introduce fault
tolerance into a system and software redundancy was
selected. He has published two research papers from this
research both in IEEE conferences. For further
