Masanori Nunami
Biography
Masanori Nunami is an associate professor at the Fusion
Theory and Simulation Research Division in NIFS. He
received his Ph.D. degree in 2004 from Kanazawa
University. He has wide research experiences in elementary
particle physics, plasma physics and computational
science, and his recent research about adaptive mesh
algorithms attain a successful progress in the field of
computational fluid dynamics. His researches in NIFS are
centered on the analysis of turbulent transport in helical
plasmas, where high performance computing is necessary to
resolve its three-dimensional magnetic configurations.
