Jie Zhang
Biography
Jie Zhang is a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the Department
of Computer Science and Engineering at The Ohio State
University, under the guidance of Professor Dhabaleswar K.
Panda. Jie's research interests include High Performance
Computing and Programming Models, Virtualization, and
Cloud Computing.
He has published 18 papers (including 8 first author papers) in different peer-reviewed conferences. Jie's thesis focuses on Building Efficient HPC Cloud with Modern Networking Technologies on Heterogeneous HPC Clusters. His research work has been released through the MVAPICH2 Virt, a high
performance MPI library, which delivers the best performance and scalability to MPI applications on the cloud environment.
